Sonny Tackett is a lifelong singer-songwriter and recording artist ,engineer, producer, and recording studio owner. His songs have been recorded by many artists in many different genres, with many top forty billboard hits, and top ten singles to his credits. To date he has had 136 songs recorded by other artists, including Tommy Overstreet, Gary Stewart, Marlow Tackett, Charlie Sizemore, Michael Allman , and many more, including a #1 single in 2017 by Canadian blues singer Crystal Shawanda, who just recorded two more of his songs for her upcoming cd in June. Sonny has also recorded five albums on his own, and owns his own label, MoonDancer Records and MoonDancer Studios. Besides his catalog of over 500 song, Sonny is also a novelist, with his first novel due out soon here , at Amazon.com, and many other online outlets and bookstores. Sonny has designed his own stage-clothes for years, making custom leather jackets vests,pants and guitar straps for many of his music industry friends and actors, and now sells them to the public through his company, S T Stagewear. He is also an inventor, and sells his custom speaker systems for guitarists through his brand, Chameleon Speaker Systems.
